An Image render of Nokia D1C just leaked online, it seems the company is gearing up it’s comeback next year already.
Recently, a new image has leaked online and it is reported to be the rendered image of an upcoming Nokia’s Android device called Nokia D1C. The smartphone company has said it would resume smartphone productions again next year and it seems plans are already in place.
We’ve seen some images before claiming to be leaks of the upcoming Android tablet called Nokia D1C, but it seems they aren’t genuine. However we have just received fresh image renders from Weibo and it shows a different story.
The amazing thing about the Nokia D1C is that it would be the company’s first Android device, since it stopped using the Windows Mobile OS for it’s smartphones and we are very excited to see what they have for us, especially because Nokia is a very popular name in the mobile phone industry until recent years.
There hasn’t been an official report about the device yet, but we have some pretty images of the upcoming device.
In the render image below, it shows the device in Gold, but we still expect Nokia to launch the device in different color variants like white and Black.
The one thing i noticed from the unconfirmed renders, is that it seems the Gold variant would be the only one to carry a physical home button rumoured to double up as a fingerprint sensor too and others will just come with capacitive buttons.
It seems the design of the D1C was inspired by it’s predecessors(Lumia smartphones) as most of them had a rectangular shape. But we just hope it would be a better smartphones than the Lumia brand of device that was a total failure.
A recent AnTuTu test have it that the Nokia D1C might come with a 2k display and would be powered by a snapdragon 820/ snapdragon 430 chip and paired with an Adreno 505 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM.
A 1080p Full HD display is also expected and a 13MP rear-facing camera with a 8MP front-facing selfie shooter.
We should all know it just a render and most times they are not always 100% accurate, the smartphone manufacturer might decide to change the look of the Nokia D1C especially when it is not official yet. But we have great hope that this is how the final device would look like.
Nokia is expected to reveal the D1C early next year – maybe at the Mobile World Congress 2017 – so until then it is worth taking any leaks with a grain of salt.
