Initially watching anime in Nigeria might seem like a playful and ‘kiddish’ idea to those who find it hard to understand the excitement and joy it brings fans across the country. Thousands of anime with awesomely heart-pumping action, nail-biting suspense & thriller, busty and trigger-happy female characters, not to mention wonderfully psychotic villains? 1) Death Note:

Arguably the best Anime out there, Death Note is a truly intriguing anime for any Nigerian anime lover and is full of suspense. It tells the story of a young teenager called Light who discovers a supernatural notebook from a Shinigami named Ryuk. This book gives him the power to kill anyone he wants by knowing the name and face. Lights then choose to use the book to get rid of all the bad people around.
2) Fullmetal Alchemist:

Another Japanese anime for every Nigeria fan. It tells the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse frantically looking for the philosopher stone to regain their bodies after a trial to restore their fallen mother turns out badly. Taking after the excursion of this team makes for a fulfilling watch.
3) Naruto:

Yes, i know a lot would not agree with the position. Nevertheless Naruto is up there the best anime show ever created, as it inspires viewers and create hope among us.
Naruto tells the story of a young boy called Naruto Uzmaki who had to carry a dangerous monster called “The Nine Tails” in him and constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage( leader of a clan). During his journey to achieve his goals he was faced with numerous challenges. Will he survive and become the Hokage as he has always dreamed?
This Anime is one of a kind and is personally my favorite and am pretty sure Eighty percent of anime fans in Nigeria love animes due to Naruto.
4) Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan, was created by Hajime Isayama, is one of the most popular Japanese anime series to be released. It was first watched in Japan during 2013 and was dubbed in English to be watched in America in 2014. It is best known for its emotional moments, apocalyptic setting, and its dramatic story line.
It follows the story of a time when humanity had to build a gaingantic wall around to defend itself from gaints and other human-eating creatures. It centres around three children who had to join the miltary forces as a way to seek revenge of thier mothers death on the Titans.
1) Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z is arguably the father of all animes, and every Nigerian anime fan would love it. The show’s rise to startdom made it easy for many animes to enter the market. Some claim that the legendary nine tails fox in naruto is a copy of the giant monkey from Dragon Ball Z- I din’t say that :).
Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who along with his friends protect the earth from intergalactic space fighters , conquerors and nearly undestructable androids who seek to destroy it. Dragon Ball Z is a sequel of Dragon Ball.
