It is normal to have a thing for the innovating tech field but not as excited about learning programming or coding. In such cases, there are plenty of roles suitable for people who don’t know how to code.
If you’ve got the brain and the drive, you can get involved with any of them.
Digital marketing
Generally, digital marketing refers to all marketing activities that involve electronic (aka digital) devices.
Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses the Internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.
Digital platforms became increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life,
and people increasingly use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops, digital marketing campaigns have become prevalent.
People are now employing combinations of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM),content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, data-driven marketing, e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, display advertising and e–books in their business.
The proficient digital marketer is one who is well versed in multiple forms of digital marketing. Scrum Master
Scrum masters are the facilitators of scrum, the lightweight agile framework with a focus on time-boxed iterations called sprints. As facilitators, scrum masters act as coaches to the rest of the team. “Servant leaders” as the Scrum Guide puts it.
scrum is the agile method of operation a lot of companies are embracing right now, as it facilitates team work and a continuous way of releasing new products.
Good scrum masters are committed to the scrum foundation and values, but remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflow.
In the ideal agile world, a team would manage its own processes and tools. Yet we’ve found that many teams making the leap to agile often rely on the scrum master as the owner of their process.
It takes time for responsibility and authority to diffuse through a team. In this transformative context, the role can be as lightweight as scheduling the scrum ceremonies or as involved as any other scrum team member.

Organizations in all industries increasingly rely on data to make critical business decisions—which new products to develop, new markets to enter, new investments to make, and new (or existing) customers to target. They also use data to identify inefficiencies and other business problems that need to be addressed.
In these organizations, the job of the data analyst is to assign a numerical value to these important business functions so performance can be assessed and compared over time. But the job involves more than just looking at numbers: An analyst also needs to know how to use data to enable an organization to make more informed decisions.
The data analyst serves as a gatekeeper for an organization’s data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions.
It is a technical role that requires an undergraduate degree or master’s degree in analytics, computer modeling, science, or math.

UI/UX Designer
If you’re good at identifying and articulating the strengths and weaknesses of products, understanding user needs, and sifting through data, UI/UX (User interface and User experience) design could be calling your name.
When websites, programs, and apps are being developed, UX/UI specialists sketch out wireframes and mockups. These are tested on users, enabling the development of guidelines for designers to complete the user interface in order to make it feel whole and optimally functional.
It’s a great way to get involved as a professional without coding software courses or other investments of that nature.
Several roles fall under this category, each related to how users interact with a website, program, or app. These roles involve skills in design, psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), and others.
Plus, you will have the satisfaction of making your users’ lives easier. UI/UX design belongs to the group of tech jobs that don’t require coding.
Technical Writer
Technical writer is a professional information communicator whose task is to transfer information between two or more parties, through any medium that best facilitates the transfer and comprehension of the information.
Technical writers research and create information through a variety of delivery media (electronic, printed, audio-visual, and even touch). Example types of information include online help, manuals, white papers, design specifications, project plans, and software test plans. With the rise of e-learning, technical writers are increasingly becoming involved with creating online training material.
Technical writing is sometimes defined as simplifying the complex. Technical writing involves communicating complex information to those who need it to accomplish some task or goal. Technical writing sits comfortably in the group of tech jobs that don’t require coding.
QA engineer
A QA(Quality Assurance) Engineer is a professional who finds and fixes bugs in a product or program before its launch, collaborating with developers on fixes to those problems when necessary. They’re needed across many industries, including automotive, medical devices and food/beverage.
QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. He will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
The QA engineer role plays an important part in a company’s product development process. The QA engineer will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.

Project Manager
In some ways this is similar to product management , but on a smaller scale. Project managers oversee individual projects from the planning stage to execution, with a gift for seeing the big picture as well as the smaller details.
Project managers rarely touch the source code themselves. Instead, they’re in charge of specific projects and often coordinate the priorities and work of several cross-functional teams at once. Even without coding, software jobs from all corners of the organization answer to the project manager. This includes developers and engineers, marketers, analysts, salespeople, and designers.

Tech Journalist
As a job function, technology journalists write for consumers who are interested in things like smartphone, tablets, laptops and other digital products. The other part of technology journalism is enterprise technology, which talks about how businesses leverage new technologies for business gains.
Technology journalists usually interview experts on various fields like mobility, analytics, cloud computing, open source, etc. and share insights with their audience.

Tech Support
Technical support (tech support) refers to a range services companies provide to their customers for products such as software, mobile phones, printers, and other electronic, mechanical or electromechanical products. Technical support services usually provide users with help in solving some common problems rather than providing training on how to use the product.
Technical support is usually delivered over telephone, via email, over chat (IM) or using special software or software extensions that the user can employ to directly contact tech support.
Technical support representatives are very familiar with the ins and outs of the products for which they provide support.
If there is a problem that cannot be solved by the tech support, it is escalated to the development team and logged as a bug that should be fixed by a future product update or the next product iteration. Tech support is one of the tech jobs that don’t require coding
Tech HR
HR Tech (Human Resources technology), is a broad term that refers to the software and hardware technology used to automate a variety of essential HR functions.
Assuming the role of HR’s copilot, HR tech uses digitization and automation to efficiently accomplish the ordinarily time-consuming tasks of: filing, phone services talent acquisition, talent management, compensation management, benefits administration, performance management, data storage, organization, and analysis.
HR tech services have successfully transformed the paper-cluttered, noise-ridden, HR departments of the past, into a quieter work environment. The Tech HR is also one of the tech jobs that don’t require coding.
Technological innovations have liberated HR professionals from their organizational and administrative burdens, so they can focus on recruiting quality employees, engaging and retaining them, and boosting their productivity.
