A good number of us who grew up watching the show in its first run would be delighted to see the power rangers back in action. Five character posters for Saban’s “Power Rangers” have been released.
Whenever the Power Rangers can’t defeat a monster, they call upon their Zords, giant robots that are formidable on their own, but can also combine together to form a super robot called the Megazord.
In the Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger’ , they called on the Dinozords, modeled after creatures from prehistoric times, and now we have our first look at what the Dinozords will look like in the upcoming Power Rangers Movie.
First, we have Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger sitting on top of his Tyrannosaurus Zord.
Next is Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger is standing on her Sabertooth Tiger Zord.
Third is Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, who has gotten comfortable on her Pterodactyl Zord, the only one of the Zords that can fly.
Fourth is Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger, who is striking a pose on his Mastodon Zord.
Finally, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger is relaxing atop his Triceratops Zord.
“Power Rangers” follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet, but to do so they have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late. ”
If that wasn’t enough, the Twitter page also announced that the first look at the movie will be shown at this year’s New York Comic Con during the Power Rangers panel on Saturday, Oct. 8.
