A good number of us who grew up watching the show in its first run would be delighted to see the power rangers back in action. Five character posters for Saban’s “Power Rangers” have been released.

Whenever the Power Rangers can’t defeat a monster, they call upon their Zords, giant robots that are formidable on their own, but can also combine together to form a super robot called the Megazord.

In the Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger’ , they called on the Dinozords, modeled after creatures from prehistoric times, and now we have our first look at what the Dinozords will look like in the upcoming Power Rangers Movie.

First, we have Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger sitting on top of his Tyrannosaurus Zord.

“Power Rangers” follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet, but to do so they have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late. ”

If that wasn’t enough, the Twitter page also announced that the first look at the movie will be shown at this year’s New York Comic Con during the Power Rangers panel on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Dean Israelite directs the superhero film from a screenplay written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. Slated to hit U.S. theaters on March 24, 2017
