After so many years of news and rumors on John Boyega joining Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it seems we are about to get our wishes stamped.
It looks like John Boyega would finally get the chance to be in a marvel movie. John has formed a thick bond with Disney over the couple of time now, and his work on the blockbuster Star Wars films, and it was only a matter of time before we would see him on a marvel movie. Now it looks like the process of him joining the MCU has began.
The Star Wars and Pacific Rim star spoke about the possibility of him entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe during an appearance at Awesome Con.
“Boyega revealed that he’s had meetings with Marvel about potentially taking on a Marvel superhero.”
The first talk about John Boyega was when rumors hit the internet that he would be in the cast for the Black Panther movie. But after that became untrue the “fans casts” for Boyega is Marvel’s Blade or Green Lantern.
“[It would] spit in the face of Wesley [Snipes] if I took Blade.” Boyega explained. “[I’m] all for Wesley [Snipes] playing Blade.”
