I personally don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t heard about serial killers. You might be of the opinion that they are mentally insane or crazy, but they exist.
Most of us have seen so many movies that involves gruesome serial killers mercilessly tracking down innocent victims and murdering them in ruthlessly imaginative ways. We know that the list of people who has committed inhumane crimes is endless but read on for spine chilling true stories of some of those human predators who have no conscience.
8)Pedro Alonso Lopez
Pedro Alonso Lopez is a popular Colombian serial killer, he was accused of killing and raping more than 400 girls across South America, but still he was sentenced for just 80 girls. He usually lure poor girls into dark and uncompleted building using different techniques before raping and killing them by a range of brutal methods, primarily strangulation. He was imprisoned for 18 years in an Ecuadorian prison, López was released in 1998 from a psychiatric hospital on good behaviour after initially being found insane and deported back to Columbia where he was later arrested in 2002 and given lifetime imprisonment.
7)Alexander Pichushkin
Alexander Pichushkin is a Russian serial killer, also known as “The Chessboard Killer”. It was widely reported that he killed up to 50 people during his reign in Moscow where most of the bodies where found. Pichushkin usually lure his victims( mostly homeless men) into his house with vodka, it was reported that he usually hit his victim on the head with an hammer repeatedly before inserting a vodka bottle in the head. He said he wanted to complete the number of squares on a chessboard by killing 64 people, it was also claimed that Pichushkin was in a competition with another serial killer known as Andrei Chikatilo, who was convicted in 1992 for 53 killings.
Pichushkin was initially a sociable kid during his early years until he fell backwards off a swing and was struck on the forehead as it swung back. Expert has said that this event affected Pichushkin and it resulted into poor impulse regulation and a tendency towards aggression.
6)Dr Harold Shipman
Dr Harlod Shipman is one of the greatest serial killers ever recorded in history, proven to have been responsible for up 250 murders of his patients. He was found guilty and was sentenced to life imprisonment, the judge recommended that he never be released.
The Shipman Inquiry was an investigation into the deaths Dr Harold Shipman certified in which about 80% where women, his youngest victim was a man of within 40-50 years old, it was later known that Shipman purposely injected fatal doses of the drug in a huge number of patients, causing their death. He then forged their wills so he could inherit large sum of money.
Shipman later hanged himself in January 2004 in his cell at Wakefield Prison.
5) Peter Sutcliffe
Peter William Sutcliffe is one of the greatest British serial killers, he was also known as “The Yorkshire Ripper” by the media. He was later convicted of murdering 30 innocent women and an attempt to murder a further 7. His major target where prostitutes who where always lurking around Leeds and Bradford area which caused a climate of fear across northern England. Sutcliffe had regularly used the services of prostitutes in these areas but violence towards them started when he was swindled out of money by a prostitute, but he later denied those accusation when interviewed by authorities saying that the voice of God had sent him on a mission to kill prostitutes.
He was sentenced to serve life imprisonment without patrol and remains in Broadmoor Maximum Security Mental Hospital to this day.
4) John Wayne Gacy
Who else can imagine the horror of movies actually playing in real-life? This was the case of John Wayne Gacy also known as “Killer Clown”. John acted like a clown entertainer in birthday parties.
John sexually assaulted 33 young men and buried the bodies after killing them in his house, all John Wayne’s killings where buried inside his Norwood Park, Illinois home.
Out of the 33 murders John was convicted for 12 of them on March 1980, he spent 14 years on death row before he was executed by lethal injection.
Gacy became known as the “Killer Clown” due to his charitable services at fundraising events, parades, and children’s parties where he would dress as “Pogo the Clown”, a character he devised himself. – Wikipedia
3)Ahmad Suradji: The Sorcerer
Ahmad Suradji was one of Indonesia most dangerous serial killers, he was also know as “The Sorcerer”. Ahmad was actually a cattle-breeder by profession. He admitted killing 42 girls and women over 11 years period(1986 – 1997).
Ahmad believed that by burying his victims waist-deep in a sugarcane farm facing his house, he would be blessed with spiritual powers. He was arrested in May 1997 after the dead bodies where found beside his home.
He told the police that he had a dream sometimes ago and his dead father told him that he needs to kill 70 innocent women and take drink their saliva and he will become a mystical healer.- can you imagine*smh. As a popular sorcerer in the neighborhood people( women in particular) always flooded him for spiritual advice or to make them more beautiful or richer.
2)Jack the Ripper aka Whitechapel Murder
The name came because the victims had organs missing and judging by procedure the killer has surgical experience. Jack the Ripper who was later believed to be a single person killed female prostitutes in the slums of London between 1888-91. The killings were committed in or near the impoverished Whitechapel district in the East End of London.
Despite extensive inquiries and several arrests, the culprit or culprits evaded identification and where never found.
1)Tsutomu Miyazaki: The Human Dracula
And finally the king of all serial killers, Tsutomu Miyazaki also known as The Otaku Murderer or The Little Girl Murderer. He was a Japanese serial killer and a cannibal who loves to devour his victims and drink their bloods.
